Dena is an accomplished and passionate educator with more than 25 years of experience. She believes birth is sacred and all families are precious and deserving of safety and respect.

Her mission is to train:

  • Culturally sensitive teachers who focus on the well-being of all families, no matter who they are or what their family structure looks like.

  • Teachers who will empower their students with information to keep them safe, and have the birth they desire.

  • Teachers who will change the narrative of birth away from an anxiety and fear-filled experience to one that is joyful (even if it is hard work).

  • Teachers and Doulas who understand Pelvic Biomechanics and how to create space in the pelvis.
